d-squared - video projects : Video into Architecture
next

In collaboration with Anthony Auerbach and students from University of North London

Two exhibitions: Penwith Gallery St Ives, Cornwall and at the University of North London.
The focus of the work has been to integrate the use of video and special kinds of model-making into the process of design development. We use video both in documenting conditions and as a generative tool in architectural design.

The installation is designed and made to be seen primarily on video. It incorporates two walls with slide projections and a counter from which ice cream is sold. The installation was continuously filled with people buying ice cream. On the opposite side of the room the video shows the space, distorted in the world of experience "corrected" on screen.
