The practice has developed a speciality in research and communication of briefing information, particularly through a series of publications for the Department for Education and Skills and subsequently the Department for Children, Schools and Families.

The task is to convey relatively complex information about briefing and space-making to a range of stakeholders, including Head Teachers, Educationalists and Governors, without specialist knowledge of planning, architecture and building, so that they can fully participate and engage in important school building projects.
